A giant crocodile believed to be the second largest crocodile ever found in Sri Lanka that was caught in Iranawila, Chilaw was today released into the Wilpattu National Park by the Wildlife Department officials.The massive reptile was caught by a group of youths in Chilaw after a strenuous effort today that lasted hours before it was handed over to the Wildlife Department. This croco looks not in a good shape, it's resting on one the side. Looks hurt or at least in a heavy shock, this can result in his death. This type of animals should be captured only by experts, not by any youths

They need to watch Animal plant and learn how to capturecrocodiles without stressing the animal.The Video is very disturbing and shows how unprofessional our tactics are.

look at the way the croc has been handled. Looks so inhuman and I doubt whether it can survived. Who gave the authority to youth to catch the croc?
