A group of school children were seen taking a boat from Battaramulla to reach their schools in Wellawatta. The boat service which was launched by the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation (SLLDC) in collaboration with the SL Navy is popular among the school children. The fee for the boat ride from Battaramulla to Wellawatta is Rs.100 per person. SLLDC Chairman Major General (Rtd) M. R. W.
