Laugfs recently visited the Grace Perera Home for the Elders at Dehiwala in an initiative to share the caring spirit of the Vesak season with the elderly residents and children at the Home.
The initiative, titled ‘Laugfs Sathkara’, was organized with the collective contribution of the staff of Laugfs Holdings and its subsidiaries.
Over 70 gift packs were handed out, including school supplies for the children as well as daily medical supplies for the elderly. The staff of Laugfs spent the afternoon with the residents with several activities planned to engage the children as well as the elderly. The event finished off with a performance of bakthi gee by the elderly residents and the children who sang with much enthusiasm, bringing smiles and joy to those gathered.
Laugfs Sathkara was a community initiative by Laugfs Holdings, as part of its commitment to extend its touch in a meaningful way during this
Vesak season.
