Maskeliya Plantations PLC estates situated in Maskeliya/Upcot and Talawakelle regions, which are owned by Richard Pieris Group of Companies, Colombo made financial assistance to the victims affected by the recent floods and landslide occurred in the island through Swarnavahinie ‘Sathkara’/Swarnamahal.
The names of the estates contributed towards this are: 1. Strathspey Estate, Upcot, 2. Glenugie Estate, Maskeliya, 3. Mocha Estate, Maskeliya, 4. Brunswick Estate, Maskeliya, 5. Glentilt Estate, Maskeliya, 6. Brownlow Estate, Maskeliya, 7. Moussakellie Estate, Maskeliya, 8. Hapugastenna Estate, Maskeliya, 9. Laxapana Estate, Maskeliya, 10. Moray Estate, Maskeliya, 11. St. Clair Estate, Talawakelle, 12. Talawakelle Estate, Talawakelle, 13. Troup Estate, Talawakelle and 14. Ferham Estate, Talawakelle.
