Singer Bangladesh appoints another Sri Lankan to senior post

Singer Bangladesh has appointed Vajira Tennakoon as Marketing Director with effective from 1st November 2016. 
Vajira was the Marketing Manager – Electronics & Digital Media at Singer (Sri Lanka), a position he held since January 2015, being responsible for a very large portfolio, comprising televisions, audios, computers and mobile phones.  
Vajira joined Singer Sri Lanka 19 years ago as a Trainee Executive in the Sales Division and moved up the ladder. In 2007, he switched to the Marketing Division as Manager – Computer Division and in January 2011 he was promoted to Senior Management as Brand Group Manager – Digital Media. 
Vajira holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.  
The CEO of Singer Bangladesh was also appointed from Singer (Sri Lanka) in September this year.
