The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will hold a customary post-budget seminar on November 16, 2017, at its auditorium.
The keynote of the seminar titled ‘Insights on Budget 2018’ will be delivered by Finance State Minister Eran Wickramaratne.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Director Charmaine Tillekeratne will make a presentation under the title ‘Salient Features of Government Budget 2018 from a Tax Perspective’.
The presentations by the speakers will be followed by a panel discussion and an open forum, which will enable the participants to ask questions and clarify matters pertaining to the 2018 budget proposals.
The panellists of the session will include Wickramaratne, Tillekeratne, Finance and Planning Ministry Treasury Deputy Secretary S.R. Attygalle, CCC Tax Committee Chairman and Ernst & Young Sri Lanka Head of Tax Services and Partner Duminda Hulangamuwa, Finance Ministry Advisor Deshal De Mel and CCC Chief Economist Shiran Fernando. The session will be chaired by Hulangamuwa.
