The Government expects a favorable response from the Indian Government against the Expert Panel report of the UN Chief on Sri Lanka, Minister Wimal Weerawansa said at a press conference this morning.
“We are expecting a response favourable to us by India against the so called experts’ panel report,” Minister Weerawansa said. According to him the Russian ambassador and China had extended their support against the Expert panel report.
“There is no point briefing enemy countries like America who UN secretary general Ban Ki Moon wants to please,” Minister Weerawansa said.
Meanwhile the President and foreign minister will be visiting friendly and neutral nations to get their support against the report, Minister Weerawansa said.
This Minister also responsible for creating unnecessary problem when he used W.F. incident for political gain during the Presidential election. this guys have no idea at all about diplomacy.

The guy is afraid to blockade UN this time, as he now knows similar action will be taken as happening in Libya. He do not want to carry the blames for the actions by UN & NATO

This is retribution for the dishonest rulers of Srilanka. There is no relief even after war is over. People are still been squeezed by the government with high cost of living. More Tsunamis yet come over their heads.
