If or when that happens, you will realize to your great dismay, that the 'known devil' was far better than the unknown.

All US brands these days, from computers to pencils are made in China.

Who says America is a world power? Don't forget that we are living in the 21st century.
Chandre Tuesday, 12 June 2012 06:13 AM
This is because, US wanted India to increase its fuel stocks in the country.

dont you anybody think that there shoud be a some sort of force to control the world order
Hussain Tuesday, 12 June 2012 01:49 AM
Oh Thank you very much, we are very indebted to you Mrs Clinton for your kind gesture. We would not know what to do without you. Why do countries allow USA to determine their external foreign policy. USA trades with China, Russia and Vietnam all communist countries but not with poor Cuba. Its all double talk .
Tano Malaka Tuesday, 12 June 2012 02:00 AM
Very helpful and hope to get these benefits by reducing the fuel & gas
Amila G Tuesday, 12 June 2012 02:16 AM
Weerawansa can shout, Reality is US rules the world.
Hussain Tuesday, 12 June 2012 02:23 AM
We should buy our crude from any country that gives us the best terms and not be dictated by other countries. Is the USA going to give us oil at the same price as Iran? If not they should just ship out and leave us to our own decisions.
Fazli Tuesday, 12 June 2012 02:25 AM
I dont think it shows the success rate of SANATIONS but it only shows the success rate of INTIMIDATION.
raj Tuesday, 12 June 2012 02:50 AM
We should also stop selling our garments to USA. We have the right decide to whom we should sell our garments.
Jasitha Tuesday, 12 June 2012 03:08 AM
Though we dont like, we've to accept the US is the current super power. Should make policies accordingly. Get started NOW!
Gayan Samarasekara Tuesday, 12 June 2012 03:15 AM
We should decide against the possible nuclear intimidation to the world, because of the Iranian intractability. The problem is common to the entire world, in which Sri Lanka is a member. Iran should come to a peaceful path with rest of the world. In fact, China should also essentially pay immediate attention on the issue.
Ajith Tuesday, 12 June 2012 03:11 AM
They never said not to buy. What they said is , if we buy, they would go ahead with sanctions. Its we who decided, where to buy. If we can withstand US Sanctions, then we can go ahead and buy from Iran.. They decided for their benefits and we have to decide for our own.. We cannot decide based on our emotions...
Fazli Tuesday, 12 June 2012 03:18 AM
It will be good if everyone leave us alone. The fact is everybody want a pinch.
Nodrog Tuesday, 12 June 2012 01:44 AM
Weerawansa must be breathing a sigh of relief.

Sri Lankn Tuesday, 12 June 2012 04:32 AM
Their are will be excuse to increase the price of fuel soon. Cheers!
cramer Segami Tuesday, 12 June 2012 05:51 AM
How can the fuel priced lowered in SL, with increasing Exchange rate demads more Rupees to purchase crude oil?
Hasthi Tuesday, 12 June 2012 05:58 AM
And some people seems to be thrilled by that reality.
Reality also tells a lot more about America such as Vietnam, Iraq etc. Afghanistan cannot be helped if Osama indeed hatched the plan for 9/11 on his own. But even there, the life of the poor Afghans has no credible improvement, other than for the city dwellers.
