Wonderful and a joy witnessing lives of human beings like any of us saved. This is indeed historic!
It is unbelievable the personalities of those given a downward negative vote!!!.feeling V. Sad for them.
fayaz Wednesday, 13 October 2010 06:01 AM
Our Government don’t even have interest to protect people dying from unprotected railway crossings where how many of them have died so far.
TRUTH Wednesday, 13 October 2010 06:07 AM
Think what would have happened to these people if this had happened in SL.
Mr. Rambukwella would have come on TV and said it is only 33 and there's 19 million to be looked after.......
akb Wednesday, 13 October 2010 06:15 AM

ravi seneviratne Wednesday, 13 October 2010 06:23 AM
Great day for all the "MINERS WORLD WIDE' and what a wonderful feeling when that capsul comes out with a miner.
faqi Wednesday, 13 October 2010 06:32 AM
Watching this rescue, what one sees is the order & behavior of the miners and the rescuers. No one is rushing or getting overtly excited. Everything is so calm and orderly as the families are reunited after 69 days. What a great end to this story, many had doubts that this would happen at all. Congratulations to all who worked day and night to make this possible.
Angel Wednesday, 13 October 2010 05:12 AM
Good Job Guys!!!
KD Wednesday, 13 October 2010 06:39 AM
Next year the engineer or the welder who fabricated the escape pod will contest for the president post will say Chilean govt did nothing, he did it all by himself.
Sanje Wednesday, 13 October 2010 07:09 AM
So emotional great work...! well done all people involved with this rescue. I really like the way they planned and phased out the rescue mission. Remember they said the rescue will be long as Christmas but performed by October. Politicians and all other responsible people of Sri Lanka," ALWAYS UNDER PROMISE AND OVER DELIVER" a very important lesson to learn. well done people of Chili. May all be rescued safely.
Kamiss Wednesday, 13 October 2010 08:43 AM
I was glued to the TV watching the whole operation bringing out the first three miners, indeed a great spirit of humanity by everyone, from the country's president downwards.
DK Wednesday, 13 October 2010 09:03 AM
Rather than the welder the NASA's drilling machine accelerated the whole process. It is a fact. There should be a key component in every successful operation..KD.!
Shankar Wednesday, 13 October 2010 09:17 AM
