This is a mystery. Which Ministry pays all this expenditure for roads, sandbags, lights etc. And who is the sponsor? Who is the organiser? Everything is hush hush! This is not the way public funds are to be spent.

there must be a legal way to stop this abuse of power. Cannot an injunction be taken to prevent this imposition on the freedom of movement of the general public so that a politically privileged got rich quick siblings can usurp public roads.

There are good and Bad in this case. Its important to stimulate Colombo and ensure tourist are enjoying some events. Remember Sri Lanka is Tourist spot and we cannot manufacture goods for export . We are lethargic and status conscious people product for no reason.
