Six Lankan fishermen arrested

Six Sri Lankan nationals have been arrested and their boat seized by the Indian Coast Guard off Andhra Pradesh coast for allegedly illegally entering and fishing in Indian waters.The arrest that happened yesterday took the total number of Lankan fishemen taken into custody for illegally entering and fishing in Indian waters in the last 10 days to 56, an official release said today. They seem to be going for it with a vengeance since Sri Lanka did not agree to their proposal for the Tamil Nadu fishermen to engage in their "traditional rights" for fishing in our waters.
