Severed body found

The severed lower part of a torso and two severed legs of an unidentified man was found inside a bag near Uthuwankanda this morning, Kegalle police said. The body of the victim was found dismembered and without the upper part of the body or the head, the police added.

The Kegalle police are conducting further investigations into the matter while a Magisterial inquiry is currently underway. (Rohan Kumara -Kegalle)
