Rogue three-wheel driver arrested

A three-wheel driver, who had allegedly robbed 110,000 Yen and Rs 4,000 from a Japanese woman, was arrested in Colombo Fort yesterday.

Police said the suspect had robbed the woman when she was touring in Kelaniya area in the three-wheeler on June 6. The suspect is to be produced in the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court today. (LSP)

Three wheelers are a sign of under development. A menace to society. Should be eliminated. Worst is some of these low Budjet tourists (we mostly get them) feel this cheap 3 wheeler is symbolic of this country. Servesthe victim right for ususing 3 wheelers.
