Report tarnishes SL image – Army Chief

The Expert Panel report is biased and tarnishes the image of Sri Lanka as the content of the report is completely incorrect, Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya said

He added that the Darusman report was incorrect as he was the Commander of the Security Forces Headquarters-Wanni at that time and that the report had tarnished the image of the country the President and the Defense Secretary.

The Army Commander said this while addressing more than 2000 troops gathered at the Security Forces Headquarters in Welikanda today. (Daily Mirror online)

No one to worry about this report. This report same as Internationa Atomic Agency Report (IAEA) made against Iraq as per the United States of America's wish. IAEA Ex- Director General ( Mohamed El Baradei) recently said there is no chemical weapons or bialogical weapons in Iraq. Whole world now knows who are the culprit of this report. Is truth is bitter for USA. This shows Mighty is not always right.
