Our protest must be peaceful. It also should be loud and clear.
So long as majority srilankans are with the government, US,EU and UN trio can not do anything.
It is duty of all country loving srilankan to get together.
When we were at war with LTTE all these media,INGO and political pundits advised us to use diplomacy, engaged in peace talks, listen to LTTE etc. Thanks to President and government now who did not listen to these advices, now we are free from terrorism.

By demonstration and protest, you cannot change the report or the action that will be taken by UN, face it and show the world that the evidence is false.
Vaidy Friday, 29 April 2011 02:02 AM
As a spokesman for UNP he found solution to Ethnic Problem was the only means to crush LTTE. Crossing over he has now dicovered there is no ethnic problem as terrorism
is crushed and aspirations of the minority community can be
eliminated by the bullet. This is dictatatorship and not Democracy.Eliminate Ethnic cleansing and achieve unity and get the whole nation to wholeheartedly disagree with the so called report

MTNB Thursday, 28 April 2011 08:46 AM
Rambukwella , u r mistaken, its not a UN expert Panel, Banki's personal panel.
Ranjith.BG Thursday, 28 April 2011 08:37 AM
How much $$ got Darusman from the LTTE Diaspora for this report. Later Indonesian KPK will release that report. Everyone knows how corrupted Indonesian Government high rankers and who left from the government. Indonesia is number one corrupted country in the world. Then how can trust this report and can think how much got Darusman from LTTE.

Punchi Putha Thursday, 28 April 2011 08:27 AM
If the govt. is so confident that they never killed any civilians, they could face the inquiry and prove themselves, by protesting they are not going to gain anything but it will only reinforce the facts in the UN report

A massive protest in SL is possible due to the level of ignorance amongst the majority community. Protests internationally is typical Keheliya type humbug talk because their are no takers who will listen to your nonsense.
zorro Thursday, 28 April 2011 07:52 AM
do we have anything to hide? I looks like that!
Loyal Thursday, 28 April 2011 07:48 AM
GoSL will have to do more than that. The LTTE rump is writing adverse comments on every relevant article on the web, against Sri Lanka and also rediculing the authors of the balanced articles. They have found way to major news papers too. They are trying to create a situation that the governments are compelled to do something against Sri Lanka. People in Sri Lanka should understand that the situation is grave and, merely demonstrating inside country will yeild no results. We need good and competent speakers to counteract their arguments confidently. Currently there is less than handful of ministers who could do that in the government and none in the calibre of Kadir, Gamini or Lalith. The Sri Lankans are suffering due to non availability of internationally recognised and competent parliamentarians.
Labby Thursday, 28 April 2011 07:43 AM
Sir, you don't have to protest and demonstrate. All that your government needs to do is face the 'report' and ensure it cannot be proved.

Will moon set?
