What is the percentage of fools in SL? Is it higher than in other countries?
Lal Thursday, 14 January 2016 12:44 PM
MR supporters should be happy Mattala Airport was useful for storing paddy during the lack of warehouses
Tax payer Friday, 15 January 2016 10:48 AM
It was good decision at least to store paddy in this idling warehouse built at public expense and located far away from terminal. When opened about 3 years ago Economist from UoC had said $ 210 mn cost will be recovered in 10 years and said it is a priority project! In addition the road from airport to sea port 25 km had costed $ 412 mn China loan. Can we ever recover these costs who will pay them?

This is called one step forward and two steps backward.
Yahapalan Thursday, 14 January 2016 01:20 PM
Brainless people to store paddy in a Air Port.

did the person who built the airport with planes landing have any brains?
banda Thursday, 14 January 2016 01:39 PM
airport with paddy is better than an airport with no aeroplanes
BuffaloaCitizen Thursday, 14 January 2016 01:43 PM
You are right, however what else useful can you do with this?
NAF Thursday, 14 January 2016 01:56 PM
RATS ARE ENTERING TO PLANES INTERNATIONAL AIR LINES STOP LANDING SL OR POOR YAHAPALANAYA
Bala Thursday, 14 January 2016 02:39 PM
What is the strategy you talk of. It was straightford use of a useless resource for useful purpose.
Raja Thursday, 14 January 2016 02:41 PM
Just because others could not find money to build another air port which was in everyones plans
johan Thursday, 14 January 2016 03:03 PM
Now we will wait and see what wonders they are going todo to this airport
Arnolis Thursday, 14 January 2016 03:07 PM
Govt should stop paying China interest for the massive loan taken to build this useless airport. Our govt should tell China to remove the airport and send it to China so that we could save our hard earned tax money.
Shaan Thursday, 14 January 2016 03:08 PM
We voted for Yahapalanaya since they promised to fill the airport with planes. Not paddy!
