The Attorney General today sought a further date to submit the government’s decision to repay 41 % of the deposited money of Golden Key (GK) depositors, when the fundamental rights petitions filed by depositors were taken up in the Supreme Court.
The Cabinet’s decision to repay the depositors’ money was not presented in court today as agreed during the previous hearing. Therefore, the AG sought a further date and hearing into the matter.
The case was postponed for July 7. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

Unfortunately no one is interested in Touchwood. The robber Malony and his wife Swarna are spending a super luxury life in Gold Coast thanks to Touchwood investors.

Can the media also report on what is happening with the Ceylinco Shiram issue. What I have heard is there is enough capital to repay all the monies owe to the depositors. Apart from either 3 or 4 payments of Rs 1,00,000.00 nothing has been paid out. There is a case related to this in Supreme Court as well. But very little information is sent out to the depositors and the media seems to have forgotten about this case.
