No Lankans injured in Chennai blasts: Ministry

No Sri Lankan had been reported injured in the bomb explosions at the Chennai Central Railway Station this morning, the External Affairs Ministry said.

The Ministry said it is in touch with the Sri Lankan Mission in Chennai on the incident.

“We asked our mission in Chennai regarding the blast. The mission said that no Sri Lankan had been injured in the blasts. However, an official from the mission had been sent to the location to collect more information,” the Ministry’s Public Communications Division Official Satya Rodrigo said.

    It Is true that no Srilankans were injured. But it was caused by a Srilankan and that is sad.
