Moves to identify relatives of Lankans who died abroad

The External Affairs Ministry has sought the assistance of the general public to identify the legal ‘kin’ of Sri Lankans who have died overseas recently.

The following persons have been identified as Sri Lankans who died abroad.

Rafideen Mohammed Ameer Basha (Passport N 4308149) and Walamunige Reeta Perera (N 0699083) died in Kuwait, Daniel Dayananda Kumar (L 0795505) died in London and Weerasinghe Arachchige (N 2539228) in Malaysia.

The Ministry in a statement urged relatives of the above named to immediately contact the Ministry of External Affairs through the following means:
