If it is on par with the expectations of the US government, let them handle it, so we will regain the long awaiting GSP++ and IMF!

His job is a very difficult one, trying to save a Govt accused of human rights violations by the western countries. This gentleman should leave politics and go back to teaching. Replace him with Rambukwela.

The crux of the matter is that the USA now concurs with the approach adopted by Sri Lanka with a view to resolving the much talked about alleged human rights violations. This a very positive and dramatic development in the context of the prevailing international concerns on the subject. Dr Peiris deserves the nation's gratitude for bringing about this favourable situation.
