Video: Khuram Shaikh trial re-fixed to March

The six accused in the murder of British aid worker Khuram Shaikh were granted bail by the Colombo High Court based on the bail granted by the Tangalle Magistrate’s Court earlier.

The trial was re-fixed to March 26.

Colombo High Court judge Kumuduni Wickremeasinghe however ordered suspects who did not provide valid sureties to submit them on January 9. When the case was taken up today, certain suspects failed to provide valid sureties.

Six suspects including the Chairman of the Tangalle Pradeshiya Sabha are accused of the murder of British aid worker Khuram Shaikh at a hotel in Tangalle in December 2011 while on a holiday.

by giving bail for these killers and rapists,before the start trial easily can guess trial will be a fake.

Even in case a killer convinced that he himself did the homicide, they give bail even for some years, can't understand why?

whole world knows who protects these killers and why have they called for a re-trial after UNHRC meeting. these stuff is good for rural idiots in srilanka where there is a vote base of 62 per cent to run the wonder of asia.
