Jagath Chamila wins best actor award in New York

Talented Sri Lankan actor Jagath Chamila was awarded the best actor's award a short while ago at the New York City International Film festival in New York for his outstanding role in 'Sameege Kathawa' (Sam's Story).The film was directed Priyakara Vithanachchi who was also with Jagath at the film festival. I saw some footage of the film and I just couldn't even recognize him. This guy's got real talent and deserves the award which at home usually goes to a 'good looker' who cannot act for toffee. Chamila is a fine versatile artist and I wish him all the best. Congratulations!
