The surprising thing is there are enough fools in this country to believe there is no other corruption in this country. I read one comment some days ago saying only one case at a time can be investigated. I need to know how many officers, polititians have been convicted before on corruption charges. Very sad state for the country end of the day real loosers are the ordinary people of this country. Not Ranil, Not Sarat Fonseka

Meaning he has discredit the same Army through whom the war victory was obtained and for which he claimed the sole ownership.
I really do not know what category of hero he is.

What a sad situation, Victory day is going to be held with a public holiday. The real hero who made this happened needs permission from government to attend his mother in laws funeral.

No exceptions, he has to pay the price too. At least the government has given permission to attend the mother-in laws funeral. Some do not get permission to attend even mother or father's funeral when they are in the jail.

Can't agree. He backs any international investigation on war crimes, to disprove it. Remember he repeatedly emphasized that he led the war on completely ethical grounds meeting all the international accords on war.

I think this situation he created by him self. Considering the latest comment he made to media, still he has not found the way to keep his patriotic charactor anymore .So we feel very sorry of him .

I think no matter what allegaton are made against SF, as they are not proven yet, he should be invited to the V Day celebration. He is the key man who led the military victory!
