CA to hear Court Martial finding

The Court of Appeal has decided to hear the Writ Application filed by former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka challenging the findings of the first Court Martial, which sentenced him to be cashiered.

The Bench comprised Justices Ms Rohini Marasinghe and Upali Abeyrathne today issued notice returnable on the Respondents on December 17.

No where in the world has such a series of events taken place within a race that back stabs each other specifically for the purpose of power, personal revenge and caste. We sinhalese should be ashamed of ourselves on this issue.

No. it does. Any person who is subjected to a Military court has the right to appeal to a civil court for readdress.
