Bus operators demand increase

President of the All-island Bus Operators Association, Stanley Fernando told Daily Mirror online that private bus fares will be increased by ten percent from July 01.According to the revised fares the current minimum fare of Rs. 6 will go upto Rs. 10.
Mr. Fernando said the bus operators will go on strike if the authorities do not allow them to increase the fares.
