You thought you liberated Libya but, got a good treat. Now pretending to help us in North of SL, will receive a good lesson with even better feast.

No, he only wants to create more divisions and distrust between the parties. The US thrives on instability and confusion so they can step in and take charge. There are enough and more examples of their 'interest' right around the world.

Blake should not waste his time coming to SL and lecturing us how to do things. SL has done better than anybody else where terrorism is concern. He should spend his energy in the countries they made a mess of it, vis a vis, Iraq, Afgahnistan, Libya etc etc. Those countries are awash with weapons what US and its allies gievn to them via Suadi Arabia. Now they have become real killing fields like US. Last year, 2011 statistics says 80% of armaments sales done by US($66 billion) - 50% of this went to Saudi after looting their oil for arms.

Blake is " a snake under grass." He will strike any moment if one give the leeway. Just be careful of this double faced rogue. He has no interest whatsoever in the majority community or Sri Lanka. He is well indoctrinated by the Tamil Diaspora in the USA. He is their spokesperson. DO NOT TRUST HIM AT ALL.

    Hussain Saturday, 15 September 2012 12:21 AM

Is this guy here to help Sri Lanka or as a spokesperson for the defunct LTTE? He is totally biased. Do not trust this joker, he is not that important a person in the US State department. Report his dubious double tongued work to Mrs. Clinton.

Sonali De Silva Friday, 14 September 2012 05:19 PM

Please Mr Blake. We don't need hypocrites like you to have any interest in our country whether it be N,S,E or W. Let us do it on our own like we finished the LTTE. We don't need an Iraq or Libya in our country. You people are more deadly than the LTTE.

All Sri Lankan be careful. We can not trust this guy. I don’t think this is good smile..

    Upul Friday, 14 September 2012 04:15 PM

Sir...North is Sri Lanka too. Therefore, before talking about North, please consider about American troops located in many countries in the world for decades. USA country has a long history of being hypocritical, and it seems the world is not anymore ready to withstand it. As Ron Paul is saying, get out from others bedrooms and take care of the USA. Otherwise the whole world is going to be a hell. Please!

    Jayalath Friday, 14 September 2012 12:12 AM

We suffered with terrorism for 30 years and you didn't bother. Now you want to save the Tamils and help their developments.

    Ravi Friday, 14 September 2012 08:41 AM

Large part of SL export is to US, so they are the game maker!

    Ravi Friday, 14 September 2012 08:40 AM

Who want to invest their money if there is war and instability? Now no war and hard working people are there, so he is interested. Simple as that!

mali ridimahaliyedde Friday, 14 September 2012 08:10 AM

i dont trust this guy blake. he is a sinhala hater

    Gayan Friday, 14 September 2012 07:37 AM

USA "interests" in SL is not just limited to the north nor economic.

    P.A.Samaraweera Friday, 14 September 2012 07:01 AM

Blake's visit to Sri Lanka was to coincide with the Provincial Council elections. If the govt lost the elections he would have supported those who are planning "Regime Change". That was the purpose of his visit.

Blake is full of smiles but when he get a chance he will stab us in the back. Hope our guys play the same game.

Develment of war ravaged places is welcome.
What is unwelcome is the developments by Chinese in the south----white elephant ego boosting projects

    Fusion Friday, 14 September 2012 05:50 AM

Better late than never. Any major developments in the NE that benefit the people in that area is welcome.

    banda Friday, 14 September 2012 02:17 AM
