I think doctors should alert the police when suspecting mothers are there. I mean this is so gruesome.

What a sweet baby........ we need to find the reasons behind such a drastic move by the mother and address that issue or what leads to the issue....

No body would throw a newborn baby away unless there is a grave reason. Pathetic situation.
Invesigations?? Its easy to catch THIS poor mother and become a hero.

I am sure the actual mother will continue to be haunted by her act if done by her. Or she may be lamenting her loss. Either way she is being punished enough.

OMG!!!! its been 20 days since i hv been a father, and the pleasure i had in holding my child in the theater... those gleaming eyes of my son looking at me...he was so innocent and fragile, totally dependent on me, he was helpless. i was so happy to have him... how can people be so cruel... what did the child do to be thrown to a pit....

Why search the mother, I am sure she had her reasons for this. I doubt any living being of any nature would do something like in their own free or mental life. Need to find a solution for these kind of acts Mothers throwing child to river and poisoning and this. The GOSL should look in to this and make arrangments for this brutal day light murders not by arresting the poeple but by acting and resolving the issue that is leading such conduct in our country.

In many cases factory girls are lured by unsuspecting wolves and abandon them after making them pregnant.....this will be a never ending story which we will hear every day....our orphanages should be more flexible so these unfortunate mother at least get to handover their children to safe hands....!!!!

Infanticide attempted; the mother should be arrested and filed case to deter this type of acts; to cease completely!

I guess , Dogs have more love to its own kind than humans...

This pathetic situation has arisen because there has been a total lack of sex and family planning education. We have too many big families and the population numbers are out of control. Politicians have not dealt with this problem

How many similar cases have we had, during the past few months?
