UNF leaders who met yesterday in Colombo had focused on several alternatives including forming a grand alliance with the leadership of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa while allowing the present leader Ranil Wickremeisnghe to remain as the leader of UNP.
A UNF Leader who did not want to be named told the Daily Mirror that they discussed several alternatives at yesterday’s meeting.
The leaders have also discussed matters on forming an alliance without delay in order to get a considerable amount of seats in Parliament at the upcoming general elections.
