The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has turned down my my request, Chaminda Vaas said.
“I made a humble request to SLC and they turned it down. That’s all I can say at the moment. Justice will prevail!,” he tweeted.
Former Sri Lanka fast bowler yesterday announced that he resigned from his post as Consultant bowling coach and will not be a part of the support staff for Sri Lanka's tour of West Indies.
According to a SLC media statement, Vaas made an “unjustifiable demand” for an increased remuneration ahead of the tour and had resigned after SLC had not acceded to his request.Lanka Tuesday, 23 February 2021 08:32 AM

SLC has not merely turned down Vaas's request to resign BUT rejected his request for sky high fees?

People don’t work for peanuts, man has a self respect. If they want to get a foreign balling coach SL cricket has to pay arm and a leg. Why not pay a Sri Lankan guy a decent salary. If Sri Lanka cricket to improve, first get rid of SL cricket President.
