Norwood PC Chairman arrested for assaulting Digambaram’s Pvt. Secy.

Norwood Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Ravi Kulandaivel was arrested for allegedly assaulting former Minister and Nuwara Eliya District MP Palani Digambaram's private secretary, and was released on bail by the Hatton Magistrate yesterday.

The PS Chairman was arrested yesterday after Digambaram's private secretary Suppiah Kamaladasan lodged a complaint with the Bogawantalawa Police on Friday.

He is currently receiving treatment at the Dickoya Base Hospital.

The PS Chairman was released on Rs. 100,000 bail by  Hatton Magistrate J. Trotsky.(Ranjith Rajapaksa)
