Naval rating killed in elephant attack

A 42-year-old naval rating attached to the Panama Sastrawala navy camp was killed after he was attacked by a wild elephant last evening, Police said.

They said he was attacked while he was returning to the camp after attending exercises with another naval rating. His body is lying at Potuvil Hospital.
