The Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today permitted Perpetual Treasuries Limited Chairman Geoffrey Aloysius to visit India from February 13 to 20.
However, the CID objected to Mr. Aloysius' request to travel to Singapore for medical treatment.
The Magistrate directed him to produce the relevant medical reports at the next hearing so as to consider his request. (Shehan Chamika Silva & Farook Thajudeen)

If he is allowed to go to India, is it not possible for him to go from India to Singapore ?
