90% loan margin for vehicle leasing effective from today

The 90 per cent loan margin for the leasing of vehicles will be effective from today, the Finance Ministry announced.

It said the Central Bank would officially inform the banks and finance companies on this change.

On September 14 the Central Bank fixed the loan margin from banks and finance companies for the leasing of vehicles at 70 per cent of the vehicle value reducing it from the earlier 100 per cent.
