2 arrested with 25 black turtles

Two persons were arrested in Galle for allegedly capturing Black Turtles to sell for meat, Galle police said. The suspects were apprehended with 25 Black Turtles at the scene.

    It's sad news. Turtles need to be protected at all costs and majority do not know this cause they are not educated on the subject. From the others who know the subject, it's sad they try to make money than do conservation. With increasing poverty, you cannot help the poor, but, it's the rich admins who need to be taken to courts.
