President Maithripala Sirisena arrived in the country today after concluding his visit to the US. President Sirisena left for the US on September 18 to attend the 71st United Nations General Assembly which was held at the UN Headquarters in New York.

This was the second time that President Sirisena addressed the UN General Assembly.

Ministers Mangala Samaraweera, Gayantha Karunathilaka, Nimal Siripala de Silva, Arjuna Ranathunga and Faizer Mustafa and the Member of Parliament Nalaka Kolonne were among the delegation of the President. (T.K.G. Kapila)
