A fish vendor who fraudulently weighed fish purchased by customers had been removed from the Central Fish Market Complex at Peliyagoda, Manager (Operations) Chaminda Silva said.
He said that they used CCTV footage to find the errant vendor.
“The footage shows the vendor placing a large piece of fish on the scale to increase the weight and removing it afterwards,” he said.
