Out of the 52 members who underwent medical tests in December conducted by the Institute of Sports Medicine (ISM), 40 have passed the test to join National Pool training.
Training will be conducted under the supervision of National Coach, Somitha de Alwis at the Torrington Indoor Stadium, Torrington Gymnasium, Kurunegala and at Kalutara.
The Senior and Junior players have been included in the National Pool.
The National Pool is preparing for the 2021 Asian Indoor Games (Bangkok), Asian Youth Netball Championships (Japan), Junior World Cup (Fiji) and the 2022 Asian Netball Championship in Singapore.
The Asian Indoor Games, Asian Youth Netball Championship and Asian Netball Championship was postponed from last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
