Heroin worth more than Rs.35 million was recovered by officials of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) in the vicinity of the Kurundugahahetekma Interchange of the Southern Expressway on Thursday night.
The PNB sleuths following an investigation recovered 3.6 kilos of heroin that was concealed near an abandoned garage.
Police Media Unit said the PNB had so far not arrested any suspect.
The PNB is conducting further inquiries.
