Administering the Sinopharm vaccine for local nationals has begun today, soon after the World Health Organization (WHO) approved it for emergency use worldwide. The vaccination started at the Sithumina Reception Hall in Kirulapana targeting 300 individuals. The vaccines were also administered at the Panadura Health Office in Kalutara District in which is also in the outskirts of Colombo. Panadura area was reported to have a rising number of COVID cases in recent days. Pix by Kithsiri de Mel.

Agree, Some people in SL think they are relatives of QE II and, they should not get Chinese medicine and QE II will send them UK products. We in AUS did not get any yet, most here are relatives of QE II (haha)

China, aided by WHO gave the virus to the world. Now China aided by WHO gives the vaccine. What would be the outcome? By the way why is Astrazeneca vaccine so much in short supply and the Chinese one freely available?
