Transfer of Govt : PM to discuss with party leaders and UNP MPs

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today and said he would discuss with party leaders and ruling party members what the next move would be regarding the handing over of government and brief him about the final decision.

Sources close to Mr. Wickremesinghe told Daily Mirror he met the new President for a discussion on political matters at his residence at Mirihana.

Mr. Wickremesinghe said this in his latest Twitter message. (Yohan Perera)
