Underworld linchpin and druglord Rajapaksa Arachchige Dinuka Madushan alias 'Keselwatte Dinuka’ has reportedly died in Dubai.
Dinuka reportedly fled to Dubai and has been operating his drug trafficking and underworld activities from there. He reportedly had died of a heart attack.
A senior police officer said the police also had received unofficial information on the death and that they suspect he might have died due to a drug overdose.
Meanwhile, after hearing Dinuka’s death, white flags were seen hoisted at his house situated close to the Organised Crime Division at Mihindu Mawatha, Colombo 12.
However, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the police is yet to confirm the death officially.
Keselwatte Dinuka is a close associate of notorious drug kingpin “Makandure Madush" who was killed in a shootout with the police last year in Maligawatte.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
