China appreciates the new arrangement made by the Sri Lankan Immigration Department to set up a Chinese page for applying Sri Lankan visa, Chinese Embassy said.
A spokesman for the Chinese embassy said both sides are confident that this facilitation service would attract more Chinese tourists to Sri Lanka in future.
“Some unnecessary interpretation online is on a wrong direction. During last couple of years, many popular tourist destinations including Thailand, New Zealand, Australia have already introduced similar friendly policies.New Zealand Immigration even chose Chinese as one of the two languages on its official website,” he said. Get China to give Sri Lankas Hongkong and China visas on arrival. Till 2005 it was so with Hongkong
