Seven inmates who were sent to quarantine at the Bogambara old prison in Kandy have contracted with Covid-19.
The inmates were transferred to the Covid-19 treatment center in Welikanda.
Meanwhile, PCR tests conducted on at least 300 inmates at Welikada Prison have confirmed that they were not infected with the corona virus.

Crime will decrease now as the criminals know that they have to face double punishments serving jail terms plus COVID 19. May be the God thinks that some jailers make the prisons as palace for some inmates.But COVID 19?
