Over 20 injured in accident

A private bus with 50 passengers on board veered off the road while negotiating a bend at Kurundankulama along the Anuradahapura- Matale road and crashed into a wayside garden wall and overturned this morning, causing injuries to at least 27 passengers including 19 women.

The injured, several of them in serious condition, were admitted to the Anuradhapura hospital. A spokesman for the hospital said the passengers who sustained minor injuries were discharged after treatment.

I think more people die/injure from road accidents compare to war. Not suprising how easy to get a license to drive (kill)?

Wrecless driver should be punished severly. something like banned driving for 4-5 years. so others will dare to do it.

Our government should enforce rules against those reckless drivers and their driving licenses must be canceled for lifetime. Otherwise these type of accidents will not be controlled. It is purely government's faults.

Before, people were afraid to travel in buses due to bombs. Now they are scared, due to accidents caused by reckless drivers!
