S. Sathyenthra who was the UNP’s mayoral candidate for the Jaffna Municipal Council and one of the party’s organizers for Jaffna district had formed new political party named Democratic People’s Party’.
Mr. Sathyenthra told Daily Mirror that the party will apply for registration with the Commissioner of Elections soon.
