Should anyone care? Successful or unsuccessful, it won't solve any problem.

    Don Friday, 07 September 2018 04:20 PM

It was Rajapaksa's " jaana (genes) Balaya" not a people's balaya to launch hereditary ilness from father to son !!

this is not the way it should functioned, initially, die hard gathering of few thousand frocked to Colombo and continue it while calling support of more volunteers, and support teams should be ready with water, medical, toilet facilities and food should provided, but to be successful have to have important reason, comini colour is not good is not sufficient to motivate public

    Lali Friday, 07 September 2018 07:43 PM

Ok.request the government to hold elections. Then you can see whether it is successful.

    Raj Friday, 07 September 2018 08:44 PM

Wait for 2 years you will get a chance to vote ..

    Piranha Saturday, 08 September 2018 03:17 PM

The government is not going to have the election just because you, namal or any other person wants it

    VJ Friday, 07 September 2018 09:05 PM

What is the measure used here to determine the success rate? The number of bottles of arrak consumed? The number of meal packets distributed? The number of people participated and what percentage of the popularion was that?

Fiiling a square or few streets with heads (Olu Gedi) is not a "Jana Balaya". The real Jana Balaya is demonstrated at a general or presidential election. JO leaders promised more than 100,000 heads. But, how much was the turn out? 30 to 40 thousand. So, it was a "Jana Shoonya".
