With the dawn of the Umrah season this year, SriLankan Airlines facilitated the first group of pilgrims that embarked on their journey to the Holy Land from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), recently. The 68 passengers, including three infants, left for Jeddah on SriLankan Airlines flight UL281.
The national carrier has been at the forefront of facilitating pilgrim and religious tours with its extensive network of 104 destinations in 47 countries, providing convenient access to many religious and spiritual sites.
Hilltop Global (Pvt.) Limited collaborated with the airline in this worthy endeavour.
