Saunders SC defeated Moragasmulla FC 3-1 in their Dialog Champions League Football Tournament Stage-6 match worked off at the Football Complex in Beddagana on Thursday (12).
The scores were level 1-1 at half time with Dilan Madushanka scoring for Moragasmulla FC while Kasun Jayasuriya producing the equaliser for Saunders SC.
However, Saunders SC got their act together well in the second half and added two more goals to their tally through Sajith Dharmapala and Mohamed Ismeth.
Meanwhile, Police SC edged-out Crystal Palace SC 2-1 in their replay match played at the Weegulawatta Grounds in Nawalapitiya.
Chatura Gunaratna and Nuwan Priyantha scored a goal each for Police SC while M. Irfan scored the solitary goal for Crystal Palace SC. (SP)

Solid SC trounced Java Lane SC 6-3 in their Dialog Champions League Football Tournament Stage-6 match worked off at the Sports Complex in Beddagana on Wednesday (11).
The scores were level 2-2 at half time but Solid SC came out with a tremendous performance in the second half to add four goals to their tally while conceding only a solitary goal.
Kardeem Ojo scored three goals while S. Sajeewan netted two goals and Edison Figarado scored one goal for the winners.
Tochkwu Francis, K. M. Safraz and R. M. Shabeer scored a goal each for Java Lane SC.
Meanwhile, Blue Star SC figured in an exciting 1-1 draw with Air Force SC in another match played at the Albert F. Peiris Stadium in Wennappuwa.
Sumedha Fernando put the Airmen in front with a goal in the 24th minute while John Abuh produced the equaliser for Blue Star in the 41st minute.
Meanwhile, the match between Super Sun SC and Pelicans SC was postponed due to bad weather at the Vernon Fernando Stadium in Kalutara. (SP)
