Officially introducing itself into the ever-expanding real estate industry of Sri Lanka, Landmark Developers Holding (Pvt.) Ltd, a new property development company, held its launch at ‘The Stables’ of Park Street Mews, recently.

Founded in early 2017, the company is a family business headed by Chairperson Neelangani Hapangama and Managing Director Eksith Hapangama.

“With the facelift to urban infrastructure, Colombo in particular is becoming an attractive city for both local and foreign investors. Subsequently, to match this demand, the growing population with its increasing income levels are constantly seeking upgrades and a better quality of life,” Eksith stated at the launch event.

As an urban housing provider, Landmark Developers is determined to supply the real estate market with ample and affordable housing. It hopes to achieve this milestone by affordable, yet modern housing solutions. Its newest addition ‘Nano Homes’ is a first of its kind concept pioneered by Landmark Developers, the design was based on a combination of pre-engineered sections and sustainable construction.

Commenting on the introduction of ‘Nano Homes’, Chief Guest McQuire Rens and Jones Group Chairman Dr. Nalin Jayasuriya stated, “The important thing about ‘Nano Homes’, which you will find in Hong Kong, several companies in India that have started making them and in Australia as well, is that, and they too realize this, the nano home concept makes families get together and do things together and it also creates the ambience and the structure that forms to create the good breeding of a family and towards that I am very happy that Mrs. Hapangama and young Eksith are embarked on such a concept.”

Subsequently, after the company was officially launched, the launch of its official website was also held within the premises and was graced by Neelangani and Eksith.

The event was further graced by Western Province Chief Minister Isuru Devapriya, Justice and Buddhist Affairs Deputy Minister Sarathi Dushmantha Mithrapala, McQuire Rens and Jones Group Chairman Dr. Nalin Jayasuriya (chief guest), German Tech Chairman Pandu Bandaranayake, Condominium Management Authority Chairman C.A.
