In the run-up to the big poll, a leader of a minor political party said in a Twitter message that Gota winning the race would be something so far-fetched as the skies coming down or the earth splitting up. Gota won though neither phenomenon occurred.

However, following Gota’s win, this politico had started posting Twitter messages one after another praising Gota. He had been sending out feelers too to the new regime. But he has got no positive response so far, they say.

By the way, the son of an intimate of this politico had recently got a posting as a diplomat in the land of kangaroos and he had received indications that this person may soon get the walking papers, and this has become a source of worry for the politico, they say.
